Confused Cruelty to children 3rd degree Georgia

We have custody of one of my husband's children. His mother is SUPPOSED to have visitation with him every other weekend. Well, last year in July, she brings him home after spending the weekend with her. She also brings my husband's other daughter with her. I have 2 children as well. A total of 4 children were present. Well during this time she gets angry after I find out from my step daughter that my step son whom witch we have custody of was injured at his mother's over the weekend, I ask my husband to ask her what happened. She takes it offensively and assaults my husband and attemps to assault me as well, and would have if my husband had not stopped her from doing so. She leaves grabbing her daughter in a hurry while I am calling the police to my home. We tried to get her to wait for them to arrive, but she fled. After the police arrive and take our statements and see the marks on my husband they take out warrants for her arrest, 1 battery charge, 1 assault charge, and 4 charges of cruelty to children in the 3rd degree. My question is that I have been doing some research on laws online and it states that no charge of cruelty to children shall be combined with any other one or any other charge and each count shall be judged seperately. It also states that on the 3rd and subsequent charge of cruelty to children shall be deemed a felony. So what I want to know is in our case will the last two counts of cruelty to children be felonies or will they remain a misdemeanor? We have court in two days for her sentencing and trial and I want to know what I can expect. And just as a little more info, this is not the first time she has done this kind of thing, in the past we have police reports, but they did not take out warrants at that time.
