False accusations of domestic violence.

10/24/07 my 10 month old son is attacked by my landlords german sheppard.Life flight to childrens hospital lacerations to head and face.Two weeks prior dog bites a woman in the face.I ask my son's mother how the dog came into contact with our son.She tells me the landlord wanted my cell number so she took our son over to his house to give him my number.I ask why she set our son down in order to give the phone number.She runs away crying.
10/31/07 Come home from work to find note from son's mother.Note is telling me she took our son trick or treating with her 10 year old son who lives with his father.Three days pass no contact from son's mother.I contact son's aunt to find out where my son is.She tells me my son is still with her sister at her 10 year old sons house.She also tells me my son has had a 103 degree fever for two days.I ask why hasnt my son been taken to the emergency room.She tells me my sons mother has been using crystal meth and is afraid to take my son to the emergency room for fear of arrest.I rush to where my son is and take him to the emergency room.He is treated and released.I return my son to his mother.
11/01/07-11/26/07 My son and his mother stay at her 10 year olds house.Her 10 year olds father and girlfriend tell me of abuse my son's mother is commiting on my son.She is yanking him off the ground by one arm angry because she wants to sleep all day and he is up curious wanting to explore the world.She is forcing him to stay in bed all day with her while she sleeps.If he escapes the bed and she has to go get him he is punished yelled at and spanked.
01/14/08 I see the same dog that attacked my son in my front yard.Landlord swore he had the dog destroyed.Fearing for my sons safety I ask a family member if me and my son can live with them , they agree.I tell my sons mother that I am taking my son to a safer place.I tell her she cannot come live there but she has 24/7 access to our son.She just cant live there.She gives me our son.I tell her if she cant get a ride I will pick her up and she can stay for a week at a time.I love my son and dony want him to grow up without a mom like I did.I was painfull growing up without a mother.I would never do this to my son.
01/14/08-04/15/08 I live with my son with a family member.I bring his mother there. After several days I started to notice a change in my sons mother and with my aunt as well. They weren’t sleeping at night. This continued for quite sometime. I have seen this behavior before. I didn’t want to believe it but, I can’t lie to myself. They are using crystal meth.I ask around if anyone had noticed this strange behavior. Several people confirmed my fears. I then confront the two of them very calmly with this information. They do not deny it. I ask them to consider seeking treatment. They laugh. Then they started to avoid and ignore me. This doesn’t anger me, but I started to keep a closer eye on my son. Bright and early my son is awake wanting to explore the world wanting love and attention...I see his mother furious she has been disturbed violently pick him up by one arm and she starts shaking him scalding him for making so much noise and getting into things. I quickly grabbed him out of her arms and tell her to leave. I put her stuff outside and am ready to take her home. Right then my aunt comes home. My son’s mother asks if she could have my aunt take her home. I tell her that’s fine and stayed there with my son waiting for her to go. They load her stuff in the van and back out the driveway only to go park in the guest parking. Two hours later they bring all of her stuff back in. I am in shock. I don’t understand what’s going on. The two of them stay in my aunt’s room for days. When I finally see my aunt she tells me I am woman beater and to leave. I don’t want any trouble so I do. The next day I come home to find my key wont open the door. I knock and I hear my aunt yelling "I am in fear of my life and I am calling 911"once again I don’t want any trouble so I leave. I have never even raised my voice at her. I am cofused as to how she claims to be in fear for her life. Several people tell me that what they were doing was very wrong and that I should call the police myself. All of my things were locked up, my son was also locked inside with two unstable people strung out on meth.If my aunt would have come to me and said things just arent working out I would of started looking for a place for me and my son immediately. I would have thanked her for the time we were there and moved on. Without any other options I resort to calling the police. When they arrive I tell them about the lockout. I don’t mention the drug use. I don’t want to see anyone go to jail. They go to my aunts and inform her it’s illegal to lock someone out without evicting them. They demand she turnover what ever keys I need to access my living quarters. She refuses, telling the officers she would have their badges in the morning. They then cuff her and place her under arrest. I tell them I have never seen her this way. I convince them that she is on medication, and as long as I can take my son inside and sleep in our bed where we sleep every night they need not arrest her. On the second night I woke to a loud knock on my door. I opened the door and was served with a restraining order for domestic violence. I was placed in handcuffs and put into the patrol car. The court order was obtained by my son’s mother. She stated that I had grabbed her three days prior, pulling out some of her hair. She doesn’t mention that she had picked my son up by one arm and was shaking him violently I only grabbed her arm to stop her from shaking him and walked her out the door. She also stated that she was in fear of her safety and the safety of my son. She knows I love my son more than anything. The restraining order doesn’t allow me within 100 yards of her, my son, or her place of residence .She used my address as her residence. She has never lived there. She doesn’t have any possessions there, no mail there. For several days I see a convicted drug user in the house with my son.. Three days later they catch the house on fire with my son inside. I was told they were trying to manufacture Meth. I am desparately worried about my son. Please say a prayer for him.I can do nothing to protect him until I get the chance to tell the courts what is really going on.Please Help Chad Hopkins
