We have been working with the ITA (International Trade Association)
with the International Trade Specialist that handles our city where our company is located. They are part of the U.S. Department of Commerce & U.S. Commercial Service. www.buyusa.gov But be careful, even if they are a real registered company in China, sometimes they are doing illegitimate business scams!! |

I found these answers below on other forums...
A: In China, really, there are no such websites, but there are such companies who offer such service; of course, you have to pay them. In China, there is "114" service. If you know the company name or the phone number, you can call this number to check. But please remember, if the Ms tell you that there is such company, that means it should be true. How to call "114" in China? For example in Dongguan City. If you have the number 86-769-88557001. You should call 86-769-114. Then the Ms will tell you the company name who owns the phone number. You also can ask her more questions. Of course, if you have the company name and number, you can check if they are the same. Finally, please also remember, If she can not find it, it does not mean such company does not exist because maybe this company does not register their number to "114" service plate. Last week, I want to find a factory to produce bags for me. I ever checked through "114", but there is no any information about it. Later, I went to see it. I was surprised to see that it is so big factory. Now they are making samples for me. Again, in China, due to time difference, they just put their home number to overseas buyers. So you have to be careful to distinguish. It's better for you to find a friend to help you. A: We offer verification services but it entails sending out an auditor to speak directly with the management and employees. There is not BBB like there is in the United States here in China. The business environment is maturing and as a result there is a growing amount of fraud due to the ability to get rich quick. A: This direct site to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce updated daily http://english.mofcom.gov.cn/ There is plenty of resources here and you may make a direct inquiry. For every country you want to do business with there is a Ministry or Department of Commerce. Just do a Search (Turkey) Ministry of Commerce or (Turkey) Department of Commerce. Half the battle for finding information is knowing how to search for it and what questions to ask. Other links... http://resources.alibaba.com/topic/7..._Companies.htm http://resources.alibaba.com/topic/1...real_.htm?va=0 Verification of Chinese Companies If you know much Chinese, you can check it out online. Generally speaking, there are some links online for you to check out companies in China: www.yp.net.cn www.chinaeall.com www.cnaic.org.cn www.114win.com etc However, there is no English version of above services so far in China, you have to know a little Chinese to check it all by yourself. If you don't know Chinese, still you can pre-verify your business partners from following aspects: 1. Contact information Please note that whether their contact information is right or not, all the scammers don't offer a right address, tel and fax number online. Some of the tel numbers are empty and some add and tel don't exist at all, they don't offer a company tel number, a private number instead. 2. Registered corporate number Every legal company in China has to register itself with Chinese government authorities and obtain an unique company number. If your business partner cannot offer you a registered number, definitely he is a scammer. 3. Incredibly low prices Most of Chinese scammers usually entice foreigners with a very low price. If the prices they offered is too low to believe, you may have a further investigation to your partner to know why their prices are so low. Most of the scammers in China profit a lot by selling replicas or fakes of some branded goods to the overseas market. 4. Payment and shipment terms The scammers never accept L/C as their payment terms, they prefer Western Union, Paypal and T/T etc. Also they never deliver goods through formal channels in China, they prefer to deliver samples by Express like Fedex, TNT, EMS to avoid more examinations from Chinese customs house. 5. Warranty and after sale services Scammers never offer you the warranty period of your goods. Be careful with Chinese suppliers! For Hong Kong companies you can do it through the Hong Kong government website. You need to pay them to access financial information but you should be able to find information as long as they are registered in Hong Kong. http://www.ird.gov.hk/eng/ati/cai.htm For China mostly of reputable & reliable company were in HKG. You can track it. |

In fact , it is not easy to verify a company by phone or website ,etc. some compay don't registered but they can provide a good service also . some register company , even "nice" company provide bad service and bad quality still .
The best way to do business with factories is that visit the factory and talk to them . And it is better if you use a agent to help you follow up your business .because most factories can't finish your work simply, you need chase again and again ..... |

World Law's lawyers could help resolve this if need be. You may email them on the home page. The fee is usually approx. 50 to 80 dollars to verify the company history.
