Can our agreement be only the English language?
Is there any requirement that we also have a Chinese version. One of trade partners seems to think so. |

The agreement of JV between a firm from China and any other firm may be in English. In this, the agreement may be written only in English. However, in case the Chinese party does not understand English then they may request for Chinese copy of the Agreement so that they can be sure as to what are the contents of the agreement. Lastly, it is sufficient to have the agreement of JV in English language.
