I wish to inform you that as per Western Union Website, if you are the victim of a fraud than you can approach the Agent through whom you had made the money transfer. Further, you can also report the matter to the Commercial Section of the Embassy of China in UK.

Hi AFF,
Thanks for the advice.

I have done a bit of research on the net and found the UK in China foreign and commonwealth office, they have very good advice. It can be found here:

Scam alert for UK companies

Well worth a read.

I phoned western union, and told them about the scam. They told me to phone back on monday!

I also phone my credit card company, as I used a credit card to pay for the WU transfer. Again, I need to phone back on monday!

I know that this is a long shot question, but does anyone think that I will haev any chance of getting money back?

Cheers
