alibaba.com tradekey and many other sites remain in full force because the majority of the scammers pay their premiums to use their sites and bring in most and and if not all of their revenue from them. without the scammers they would not exist.i got burned on alibaba by Guiyang Oleady trading co ltd aka Guiyang Oleady shoe export co ltd and HongKong Leiming ltd.what they do is change all their contact information to other alias's and keep running their sites with the chinese government turning their cheaks .being fully aware of these sites and they pay so called taxes to them so you do the math.i am working with our trade commission and our embesy in shanghai to see what can be done since they might be operating with the consent of their government.shout out to all your congressman and local fbi office and secret service.by getting as many agencies involved will bring down this corruption.i had notified the fbi and secret service in shanghai and you should too.they speak english there.

I was also scammed on Alibaba by Hongkong Leiming. Everybody beware of companies like Hongkong Leiming. As the previous post stated, it is true Alibaba accepts the payment of membership without the proper investigation to prove the company is legitimate. The name Hongkong Leiming will be abandoned now that they have the money they want but now they will just create another name and start the scam again. There is no official company that can authenticate companies like Hongkong Leiming so Alibaba will continue to accept the membership payments and allow us the consumers to be ripped off. Alibaba needs to have a higher trust factor before I can ever try to perform business on there again. Ebay is a good example, they have teamed up with Pay Pal to protect both the seller and buyer. There is still fraud on Ebay but at least there is a higher trust level there and there is a grading system of the Seller by the Buyers. On Alibaba there is no feedback information on the buyer's experience with a vendor. Also, Alibaba vendors demand payment by Western Union or Bank Transfer quickly because their scam has a limited window of opportunity. Although their scam operation is large they only have a certain time until they go and have to create another fake business. Now that i've experienced the fraud by Hongkong Leiming my eyes have opened up. Vendors on Alibaba continue to email and message me to transfer money. After a costly lesson, now I say NO WAY!!!
I highly suggest that people do not do business on Alibaba until it is a safer place for us. We the people can be heard by our actions. If we don't give business, the legitimate vendors will push Alibaba to tighten their security and background checking. Final words: Do not do business on Alibaba or web sites like them. For more information go to the Alibaba community forums to learn more about the experience like mine. Signed, Anti-Alibaba Person Who Got Scammed |
