Thumbs Down Esources.co.uk and their Awful Customer Service

I recommend caution when dealing with Wholesale Suppliers & UK Wholesale Products Trade Directory - eSources.co.uk, as they have proven very difficult and obstreperous to deal with.

Here are the details of an incident which has recently occurred between them and myself, and to which I am now informing my lawyer in the UK.

This company seems completely to misapprehend the concept of customer relations, and seems only intent on drawing in funds and nothing more.

Basically ESources.Co.Uk are a UK based trade portal, and since I’m working in the area of trade between China and the west I decided I’d give this new portal a go.

However, for some, still as yet, unknown reason on the 25th of March 2009 I had problems with my own Visa card and and the page refreshed bringing me back to the start of the purchase process.

That still isn’t the issue, however.

When once the page had refreshed and brought me back to the beginning of the PURCHASE SEQUENCE I hadn’t noticed that the page had reset my personal choice of SELLER account back to the default of BUYER.

Therefore, it wasn’t until the transaction had completed that I discovered I’d just bought a BUYER membership.

Upon this realisation I then commenced the purchase sequence again, this time, however, ensuring that I had re-chosen the SELLER account option.

Upon completion of the transaction I then wrote immediately to the customer services of ESources.Co.Uk explaining the error and requesting and requiring ESources.Co.Uk revert my funds to me for the BUYER account, which I had mistakenly purchased.

Since that time ESources.Co.Uk has done everything it can to either ignore or refute the necessity of returning those funds to me.

I have tried to self-arbitrate the issue without success.

In their last communication to me they informed me that should I persist in requesting this reversion of funds they had from my account due to a simple mistake, that they would cancel both my memberships without recourse to a refund in any way shape or form.

As of April 11th 2009 ESources.Co.Uk have indeed blocked my access to my account and the services which I had purchased.

Consequently, since both memberships are little more than three weeks old I would like to have all my monies reverted to me for both accounts, plus legal costs and compensation for the unnecessary trouble and stress ESources.Co.Uk have put me through.

The membership fees are as follows:

BUYER 29.95 GBP

SELLER 150 GBP

It seems they are making the same mistake that many companies here in China make when they scam foreign companies. In that they believe that due to the distance I will allow the matter to drop.

This of course isn't going to be the case, as I am referring the issue to my UK Solicitor to deal with on my behalf.

They seem to think they can simply cancel my account after a couple of weeks and keep my money. How absurd is that?

I want everything back, plus costs, and compensation.

I personally do not recommend this site to anyone, particularly SELLERs, as, in my personal opinion, the size and scale of orders on the site are very small, and aren't worth the effort.

Not to mention their terrible service.

All the best.
