Default Book Printing problems in China

Hi there, I'm based in Scotland and I had a 2000 limited edition hardback book printed withTa Kung Printing Ltd, Shenzen, China. 356 of the books are unsellable due to bad finishing and various kinds of damage also there were 5 books missing from the final count. They apologised for the problems and offered a discount on the next run of books. I Explained that as the book is a limited edition there will not be another re-run and we needed the 356 books replaced. there has been no contact from them for a month.
All their terms and conditions were met when I sent the complaint about the books.
If any one can offer a bit of advice as to the best steps to take now I would be
extremely gratefull!!

You can if need be sue them or take them to arbitration.

Did you have any written contract?

I am sure World Law could have one of their China lawyers deal with the company for you if it comes to that.

You say you'd be "...extremely grateful...", however, I've sent you two PMs on the matter, and you haven't even bothered to reply to me.

Neither grateful nor courteous in my personal opinion.

All the best,

Ken Stone
