trademark in china
If I do not file in China for my US trademark, can any Chinese company just start using it?
I got a letter from a Chinese trademark firm today asking to file for me for a fee of course. |

A lot of Chinese firms are pushing that these days. If you plan to operate in China it is a good idea to register your mark.
But they cannot just steal it and use it if you are in business worldwide. The law there prevents that already. Of course enforcement is sometimes a bit of an issue. |
