Default chinese law arbitration

Will the Chinese government companies and legal system respect arbitration clauses in contracts?

I am buying 56,000 USD worth of goods and we have an arbitration provision?

Yes, such clauses are commonly agreed and enforced in international deals with China unless against public policy for some reason or unless grossly unfair or unreasonable etc.--similar exceptions as to US and EU law.
