How to spot a fraudulent seller.
I do not usually write in forums but this forum/blog saved me a few thousand dollars First. Check there details. 1)seller should be a member of tradekey longer then a year 2)Trust points – 3000 and greater. I recommend 4000. 3)Silver, Gold Key. Doesn’t matter. It is paid for. Anyone can have Gold Key Status. So ignore it. 4)Just because they offer paypal it doesn’t mean they are safe. How to spot a fraudulent seller. 1)Price is too low Shop around with other sellers. The fraudulent seller will negotiate and give you a very good deal. To good to be true. He doesn’t care about price as long as he gets your money. He is not sending the product anyways. The paypal fee was also lower then others. 6% vs 9% - 15% AAA Ugg boots for $49 for AAA boots when other reputable sellers will not budge on $68 -$69 Affliction shirts are $11 when others are at $17 2)Too many different website I was sent to all kinds of different websites depending on the product I was looking for. No matter what it was, the fraudulent seller had it but was given a different websites to view. They should only work with what they have and from their website. 3)Can’t order by product number Seller wanted you to send pictures of the items you wanted because if you ordered by product number, the fraudulent seller wouldn’t know what the item was and he couldn’t give a reasonable quote. All the same is true about what is said in this Forum/website about their sales pitch. They will resend if caught by customs. NOT! We are gold key members so you are safe. NOT! We are in business not for a one time purchase but long time customers. NOT! They will fraud you for $1000 or even a $100. Either amount is profit for them We accept paypal so your safe, NOT! What saved me was I called Paypal to verify the account in which I was sending money. Paypal told me it was not recommended to send to this account (jie885@yahoo.com.cn). I was told by paypal that my money would not have gone through even if I sent the money, however, there are people before me who did not get their products and complained in order to make the account in bad standing. I come to find out that the customer service rep at paypal gave me information I was not to be given as I called for other verification and that is against paypal rules. The fraudulent seller is Jimmy Lin newfits.com (among a whole bunch of other site given) 30 trust point, however, a gold key member They have an online chat that pops up when you get to their site. Jimmy became very rude and impatient when I started questioning his validity. Jimmy said all his products were high quality and his company doesn’t care low quality as it would be a waste. Come to find out I can pay $30 more for higher quality. I question him on it and he was caught with his finger in ass. I hope all of this helps. I felt it was my duty to let everyone know my experience. Be very careful on tradekey. And please take the time to post on here to protect all of us buyers. I took the time. So should you. Thank you. I am working with, which I beleive is a good company. I will post again when I find out. I know some of you sorry ass sellers are on this forum. How do you like this. We are out to find out who all of you are so we can blast you into shame. Please spend more money on your Gold Key Status you idiots. lowcostforyou@gmail.com Last edited by wld_team; Jan 17th, 2009 at 11:46 AM. |
