Question Laws on SS for Ex spouses

Does anyone know if an ex spouse is ever entitled to SS benefits when a souse dies? I could swear I read somewhere that it's possible to claim some portion of the benefits even if you were divorced.

Try the SS website at www.ssa.gov or, call your local SSA office and ask.
