Confused Moving out prior to divorce

If I move out of my home will I jeopardize my legal position if my wife and I end up getting a divorce? My wife has a gambling addiction and will not seek help. She continues to be in denial and I am tired of watching her destroy herself and our retirement future. I have threatened to file for divorce and put our house on the market. That has not done any good not to mention the fact that now would be the worst time to try to sell with the recession and all. If I moved out in hopes that it would prompt her to seek help or at least the marked would improve. Would that hurt my standing later in a divorce? Thanks
