Divorce without distribution of assets
I am going thru a divorce right now and I have been waiting along time. She will not sign the papers and it has been over five years. We need to do the distribution of assets but I heard I can still get the divorce prior to splitting everything. Do you know what this is called? A friend o mine is going thru the same thing and her attorney filed for the divorce after the two year waiting period. They have assets that still must be split but the divorce is going through.

Get back to the judge and ask him to order her to review them and sign--or have him grant it without her participation if she will not attend.
Five years is ridiculous. |
