Confused Alimony is being deducted from future Marital Settlement Agreement

On July 31st, 2007, Respondent, Husband, decided he was done paying alimony and said he was going to start deducting it from the MSA we were negotiating. It's been 2 months now and my future first month's payment for MSA has gone down considerably.

Two weeks ago he threatened my side by saying "take this offer - I'm done, this is it". The next day we quickly took the Offer, which surprised them. Respondent left for a golf tournament thinking I was going to take a long time considering his offer. After the attorneys talked and we agreed to the demands they both decided everything was ready to be drawn up on the MSA. My attorney drew up the MSA, sent it over and NOW the Respondent wants to start changing other things again.

I have two questions:
(1) the way he has treated his Alimony payments are in contempt of court - right?

(2) At this point, since it was accepted and MSA was drawn up as agreed to, this is between his attorney and him now, - right?

What can I do?

You can hold him in contempt for any nonpayment of court ordered alimony.

It is not always easy to hold him to an agreement that has not yet been signed. He could always protest some part of the language.
