Default Personal belongings

My boyfriend lived with me for about 3 years and has now moved out. That was over 2 years ago. I still have quite a bit of his things and want them out. I have requested he get his things but as of yet they are still at my house. What are my rights regarding this?

Thank you for your help.

Default Re: Personal belongings

You normally need to try to give 30 days notice in writing that you intend to dispose of the items; and then also inform the local police what you are doing as well. After that you should be okay.
