Married In india, Juridiction issue for divorce

Married in India, living in US for 4 years, Husband filed divorce in India but I want to file divorce in US ,is it possible to I need to get India case dismissed first?

You can get divorce here if you’ve lived in the state for at least 6 months and in the county for at least 3. It is possible to get divorced in the US and this is divorce is valid in India but contestable in Indian courts. It is better to get your order first than an order from Indian Court.

I don't think the US court will take the case if you have been properly served in the Indian proceeding.

But if you have not been properly served then file ASAP if you wish.
