Division of property AFTER divorce
Blair County, Pennsylvania -- I'm trying to find out what rights I would have to maintain complete ownership of a home bought together with my ex-wife while we had been married. We have been divorced for a few months via an uncontested divorce - and we specified that there would be no division of assets.
However, my ex wife's name is still on the title for the home, and I am going to ask her to have it transferred into my name only... I have read some references to "tenants in common" in response to my google searches on this topic, but no article seems to explain what happens AFTER the final divorce decree has been issued. Anyone know what my rights may be to this property - with or without the title transfer? |

She still owns part of it and you two have to agree what to do or go to court again to have the property divided forcibly.
