Husband left before divorce final

I live in Indiana. I have filed an uncontested divorce while my husband was incarcerated. He was released a few weeks ago on parole. We signed the papers but still have to take the class on how children cope with divorce. Once that is taken it will be finalized. The problem is that he violated his parole and took off. I can't find him and last I heard from him he said he isn't going to take the class but if he gets locked back up he'll take it. Well that could be a long time. I just want to know if there is any way around him taking this class and it being final?

If he cannot be located in any way, you can tell the judge and the judge normally will let you proceed.

You may have to publish the divorce notice in the paper etc.
