Incarcerated Spouse in SC
SC What is the most cost effective way to get a divorce? My husband has been in prison for 3.5 years. There is not property or debt to speak of and custody is not an issue since he has a minimum of 42 more years to serve. He has already told me he would consent to the divorce. Where do I start?

You can try doing it with online forms such as exist on this and other sites. Or you could have lawyers assist with the forms as well.
If you prefer a lawyer can do it all for around a 900 to 1000 dollars normally--check your local lawyers, phone book etc. |
