Default property after divorce

I live in NY state. My ex and I divorced last May. I was awarded the marital home and he moved out and moved in with his parents. We agreed that in dividing up the marital property he would have 60 days to remove any items he wanted from the home. He told me he didnt want anything as most of what we had was old used furniture but still came to the home for a few items here and there during the 60 days which I was ok with. In september he signed a quit claim deed to remove all his interest in the property when i refinanced it so the home can be put solely into my name. Between October and December he was still coming to the home while I was at work and taking more items. The kids which were 10 and 16 at the time were letting him in. In the past couple months he has been using the kids to remove more items from the home. Last week he had my daughter bring him my computer while I was at work. Even though this was purchased after I filed for divorce but while he was still living in the home, isnt there a rule about him not being able to keep taking things from my home after all this time and since he signed that quit claim deed to give up all interest in this property? I would assume the contents of the property are included in that. Im considering it theft and didnt give him permission to take my computer just because he wanted one and didnt feel like paying for one. He did the same thing with the kids clothes everytime he needs clothes for them he has them clean me out with everything i bought them and most of the stuff doesnt make it back here. Our agreement does say hes to provide for them when they are with him and I am to provide for them when they are with me. I seem to be doing all the buying and hes getting a free ride while stealing from me in the process. he doesnt pay support because of this bogus joint custody arrangement and he makes 13k more than i do. what should i do to fix this situation? Please help!

Default Re: property after divorce

Tell your children to not let him in when he comes. That's pretty simple.

If he's stealing from you and you can prove it, call the police for theft.

He's not required to pay child support?

Since your divorce, he should not be coming to your residence and taking anything. File a motion with the court for contempt.
