Default uk divorce- nightmare ex-wife plz help

hi there i have recieved divorce papers from my ex, and to be quite honest they are full of lies. she has said things like, i locked her in the house when i went to work, i never showed her love or affection, i controlled all the money and told her what to wear. she left me for another man and got herself pregnant after 4 days (applying for a dna test), also she is after custody of our 6 year old daughter.

my question is whats the onus on me to prove these are lies? and whats the best way to go about it?
also she is after me for financial support, she wants maintenance, periodic payments(?) and a lump sum. she worked for 6 months out of nine years, and as i said is living with another man in his flat. neither of them work (so i am already paying through my taxes to keep them *sigh*), she took all her belongings and we diveded the bills into whats in her name and whats in mine. i ahve also paid £350 in bills which were in both of our names, and now have a tax credit bill of £700 to pay again in both our names. how likely is it she can get any money from me? i work part time (as i care for my daughter) and she has paid nothing in the nine months she has left for her daughter. thnx for any help.

You need to calmly and diligently lay out the record. Gather your evidence, bills, witnesses etc. and be able to show that what she says is not true.

If you can do that, she will lose credibility with the court.

If you need solicitors to help you prepare and to help direct you, just email world law, I am sure they could assist you online or in person.
