Unhappy common-law seperation

Is that ture if me and my commom-law parter seperates, all our properties, ownings, will be divided in half?
We have just bought a house, both our names are on the legal paper. The down payment was supported by my parents. Because the money won't be needed until Feb, 2010, we used some of the money to buy RRSP. So her RRSP which is under her name is actrally my money, I send it to her, can I get the money back if we seperate? is the house will be divided in half since both our name on the paper?
More, the car I am driving was purchased about 3 years ago, and still owning money. She claims that she made the payment for the first 2 years, but the truth is I put all my income into her account (big mistake) to show that how much I love and trust her. Now she wants all the payments that she made back, is that going to happen? I don't deny that she pays rent, food, and livings, but since all the money I earned are in her bank account, is that mean I didn't make any of the support to the family?

I appreciate any of the responses.

The first order of business is to establish whether or not the state in which you reside recognizes Common Law Marriages. Some do. Most don't.
