divorce question

I was married in Texas and now reside in Louisiana. I have been seperated for over 25 yrs. fro my wife and I have no idea of her whereabouts. How can I find out if we are still legally married or if we are divorced?

Is this a real question? How would you not know if you're divorced or not? Did you not show up for your divorce hearing?

To whoever responded to my question about my being seperated for over 25 yrs, and not knowing if Im still legally married or not, you are about one ignorant son of a *****. If you are a lawyer you should not even be allowed to practice law.I have no idea of her whereabouts nor do she know mine. I dont know if she possibly filed and I wasnt aware of it. So until you know all the facts, dont judge me or consider me stupid.
