DIVORCING FOREIGN NATIONAL WITH TEMP GREEN CARD
I have been married for 1 1/2 years and now that my wife and I are in the states and things are far from a happy marriage. Here temp green card is suppose to be renewed by November but I want to divorce by then. I haven't been to a lawyer yet but I was hoping to get some information so I know what questions to ask when I go so I can try to minimize the damge. If you have any info it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm just looking to see how I can get the divorce and then pay for her to go back to Japan. She's having an extremely hard time adapting and actually took pills and ended up in the hospital now she's being seen on a regular basis for depression. we haven't been married to long so I don't think she'll be entitled to much.
