greencard status after divorce
i am married to a greencard holder. i got greencard with him about a year ago. i am looking to separate on grounds of domestic violence and harassment from my spouse. I will be suing for all charges. however i also want to understand how does this affect my status.

You will still be allowed to stay but you will often have to show Immigration that the marriage was legit when you first married.
