Unhappy How long can you wait to file a restraining order in Michigan?
I am a woman who had to leave her husband and move out because of things that happened in our marriage. We have been seperated for 6 months living in seperate households. We share the children, but he claimed both kids on his tax return this year and got 401k money back from his job that he got fired from. Will I be intitled to half of this if I file for divorce? Also there are many things that he has done to scare me and endager our children how long can you wait to file a restraining order? I live in Michigan.
