US citizen married in Asia. legal marriage in USA?
Connecticut
I was married in 2002 in Kyrgyzstan and brought my wife to the USA on a K-3 visa. She has since gotten her green card. I live in Connecticut, born and raised here. I have a Kyrgyzstan marriage license. Am I legally married in the eyes of the courts here in Connecticut? I want to get out of my marriage. Thanks Richard |

You certainly are married under US law if you brought her here on that visa
--and confirmed again if she has her green card. You need to divorce to end it. |
