Default final decree: the county that the divorce was finalized in is over 100 miles away

my daughter signed final orders on her divorce a month ago. her ex was court ordered to pay spousal support from the beginning of the proceedings. he never paid a dime. the final decree ordered him to pay $1000 within 3 days of the signing of the final decree and another $1000 within 30 days as well as payments to be made to pay the remainder of the balance as well as court ordered to pay monthly support for a period of 2 years. he has never paid anything and has told my daughter he will not pay her a dime. what can be done and do we have to go back to court to take care of this? this seems criminal now. the county that the divorce was finalized in is over 100 miles away, do we have to go back there?

<<<<<<the county that the divorce was finalized in is over 100 miles away, do we have to go back there?<<<<<<<

even if you have to go to China to sue the defaulter you should...distances don't matter and your silence in the matter reflects on your passive attitude towards your problem

This is a case of Contempt of Court,,,file a Plaint to that effect with the concerned court atonce!

thanks and i agree 100%. in fact i think legal action against her attorney in the proceedings is called for as several times during the course of this action her attorney was asked about the contempt of court issue since he didn't pay any support and she never followed up.
