My wife, a Chilean, and I, an American citizen, were married in California in 1991. We have two daughters, both 14 years old and have been separated now for 12 years. We now all live here in Chile. Back in 1995 or so my wife registered our marriage here in Chile (Bienes Seperados) without consulting or informing me.
We have spoken on several occasions about getting a divorce as we both have had relationships with other people. My question is: Where do I file for divorce, in the US or in Chile? |
