Default Divorce -- Does a wife get some type of support from husband because of adultery?

Colorado -- My question is does a wife get some type of support from husband because of adultry. I have moved out of our residence he moved her in the same day that I left. I have been emotionally hurt this is the second time that he has done this. I am currently staying with my daughter sleeping on her sofa. He makes 3 times more money than I do. We don't have any children.

Colorado is a no fault state. What this mean is Colorado doesn't care why the marriage fail, so they care less about the adultry or how many other times he did this to you. You may be entitle to spousal support after the divorce is finalized and not before. Remember if your name is on accounts with his that are still active for monthly or bi-weekly payments you both are responsible for them. Until the courst divided the bills up. you can act pro se and file divorce on you own without a lawyer present. here are the place to get the forms. If you are nervous get a lawyer or seek legal aid if you are indigent.
