To whom it may concern,
James here, 40 year old American citizen living and working in Singapore for last 9 years (Permanent Resident). Before that in Thailand for 8 years. Have Thai partner. Our marriage was never registered in Thailand nor Singapore. We have a 10 year old daughter together born in Thailand holding US passport. My last known residence in US was Massachussetts. If my partner filed for divorce for wrongful doing on my part would she file under Thai, Singapore or US law? Would US law apply for her and if so what would the procedures be for her to request divorce from me (on what basis). Any more explanation required, please let me know. Thanks. James |
