It's been 20 years since our divorce

We've been divorced for twenty years and were married for 17 prior to the divorce. Can I collect on my spouse's pension for the years we were married? I remarried 13 years after the divorce, my spouse has not remarried.

You can yes but that issue should be addressed in your divorce agreement--ie what you get and what remains with him?

Then unless there is a State law saying you get a portion of his pension by default (I doubt that there is), then your assets were divided at the time of the divorce and you cannot go back and re-litigate it 20 years later.
