Default affairs and how they affect divorce

What kind of affect does an affair have on a divorce? How do you prove they had an affair? What if both parties accuse each other of having an affair? The main reason for divorce is spouses lack of concern for family when they drink. The love has not been there for at least one party for 2 years because of the mental exhaustion and lack of trust.

Most States have "no-fault" divorces, where the fact that one party had an affair is of little importance.
In States that do not have "no-fault" divorces, the courts may simply not care whether one partner was faithful or not.
This is not an argument I would invest a lot of effort on. What do you think it would get you? A better property settlement? Not. A better custody arrangement? Not.

Honestly I don't want to live off his money. I don't even want the house. It is surrounded by his family. All I want is a honest clean break so I can be happier. Even if that means bologna stew, bologna roast, bologna...... well you get the idea for a very long time.

Proving infidelity is not going to help you achieve any of these goals, unless the man is refusing to grant the divorce and you do not live in a no-fault State.

I understand your bitterness, but focus on making a quick and clean break and getting on with your life.

Not bitter just tired and trying to cover all bases. He is the one pointing the finger. Personally if he had a girlfriend he would be happier and in turn so would I. Thanks for all the input.
