IN A MESS: I STILL CAN NOT GET TO SPEAK TO MY ATTORNEY

I retained a lawyer in the first part of December to file for a divorce with a child coustody, 11month old. At this time the attorney that the judge was very keen on young children staying with the mother and looked down on the fathers wo did not work and at this time the father did not work. Also the father wanted visitation of child 2 days a week and every other weekend. Attorney also told me that would not happen and with child being so young the judge may only give the father supervised visit on the weekend not over night visits. For us to not worry about a thing that we were God fearing church going family and the judge liked that as well and the father does not go to church so the judge would be all for me bring a child us in church . DON'T WORRY ABOUT A THING the attorney says. After a month of calling this lawyer and never reaching him only answering machine (i left many many many messages with no reply) he calls and says we have a coustdy hearing and this day he changed his whole story from what he had told me on the first meeting, now he says either we agree to what hte father wants or he will get her every other week and that s it . After this day in January could not get up with the attorney again until march when he called and said he had the divorce papers ready to come sign we did that and later he called and said we had a court date then the day before the court he called and canceled. Did not hear from him again until i finally got in touch with him in July. Now he keeps messing up the papers when we told him what i want. In the coustdy since my lawyer gave the father the visitation he wanted i want in the papers that when the child starts school that the 2 day a week visits stop, hte father is haaving a big fit. NOW in the mean time we had a very brief reconceliation. so the father says if he don't get every thing he wants he will tell my lawyer we got together and I STILL CAN NOT GET TO SPEAK TO MY ATTORNEY the secretary always says he is in court all day. HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!

If you had a brief reconcillitaion I guess the father isnt that bad after all. A child needs his father as well as the mother as long as they are not drug addicts or abusers or murderers. So what is your issue with your child not seeing the father?? Other than hate for this guy. Or you want total control. Let go and let this dad who obviously wants to be part of his childs life be a part of his life. So what if he doesnt go to church. Who cares. You do and thats all that matters right. He doesnt have to do everything you do to make him be a good father.
