This is so confusing
I have been married for 12 years, renting a condo, no kids. He is never home, he goes and comes when he wants, even weekend. We have had no communication cause he is always right. I think we should just go our own way but he claims no cause he would have to pay me spousal support. We almost make the same salary. Since our salary are close to the same, I don't think that he or I have to pay anything except legal expenses. Or does he have to pay me the difference that he makes more or does it even matter. Can I claim him for spousal support? I need to go forward with this but I don't want to spend thousands of $$$ for legal fees which in the long run, we can just walk out of it. Thanks for your comments.

If your State had no-fault divorces you did not need to demonstrate cause to get a divorce. Just go file for divorce.
But I should hope you would not be able to get spousal support if you have roughly the same incomes. You shouldn't even ask for it. |
