Will I lose due to abandonment? We co-own the house.

Since my husband refuses to sell and I can't take living with him anymore I have decided to try to find my own place. We co-own the house, I am on the deed and the house is paid in full, no mortgage. If I find a place of my own, can my husband claim I abandoned the house and be awarded full ownership? I don't want the house but I do want my share.
He is really dragging this thing out and my lawyer doesn't seem to be doing much about it.

No. He cannot claim that you "abandoned" the house. You still have a right to your share of the equity.
