International Divorce
My husband (UK Citizen) and I have received approval from immigration and now he does not want to come home. (I live in Colorado) We have talked about divorcing and are in agreement that we don't want anything from the other. He has credit cards here (he lived here for 4.5 years) as do I and the other is listed as a signer. Property I have here is in my name only. Can I file a divorce in Colorado, send papers to him to sign and a divorce be legal here as well as in the UK?
