change of court
My ex-husband and I just went through a divorce in Polk county in Oregon. I was awarded spousal support that will decrease over the next several years with the asumption that I will be fully employed by the time it starts decreasing in two years. If I am not, we will go back to court. The judment was not what I had hoped for, nor do I think it was fair. However, the judge clearly stated that it was the highest support he has ever awarded, and I do not doubt it. This county is very conservative. Are there any circumstances that warant a change of county next time? I feel certain that I would be treated better in Marion county.

Wow.
You got the highest support ever awarded, but now you want to roll the dice in some other county? No, you cannot change the venue so easily, thankfully, or everybody who is dissatisfied with their divorce decree (which means everybody who has ever been divorced) would be shopping around for different courts. Do yourself a favor and spend your time looking for a job instead. |

Oh! My mistake! I thought this was a place where intelligent people could ask questions and get intelligent responses, but instead it is just a place for piss ants to blow off steam before they go ****-off for the night.

You mean like you just did?
No, we don't really encourage that, so I would suggest you find another forum. Maybe you could start your own. I don't think WWW.GOLDDIGGERFORUM.COM is registered yet. Last edited by tbyte : 07-03-2008 at 11:45 PM. |

lmao. omg. u guys are priceless. jokes everyday.
so to the subject. no mam. it's not that easy as t said. for THAT reason. if you have a valid reason; you know-like he beat you and MADE you stay at home & you did for fear of safety, etc. and didn't work...then you might have it made. as for most of us (self included) working is not an option. if you have to just go down to your local welfare office and ask for help w/ this $ situation, since you and everyone else who walks in this country illegally gets all the help they need. while the rest of us who bust their ASS working all day get squat. thank you & ur welcome. btw: i don't understand? if this is the "biggest" award he's given; it must not be this small. give more details i'll give a better; non smartass answer. ![]() |
