Wanting fast Divorce
I am having a problem contacting my ex husband of 27 years. He lives 4 provinces away. My question is..... is there anyway of getting a divorce without having to have him served with papers. We have had no contact other than over the phone a few years ago.We have one child who is 31 years old and we never had a home of our own so there is nothing to dispute about. I have been trying for months now and I had planned on getting remarried the begining of August. I have all the divorce papers (do it yourself divorce). Can I not just file them at a court house. Thank-you for your time.

The judge will let you file and give notice by publication normally if you cannot locate your ex. But you have to swear that you cannot locate him.
You can give notice in the newspaper etc. |
