Is my husband stealing and do I have a right to the money back when we divorce?
I was married and did not come to the states until 3 years after we were married. I came from the Orient. In 2000 when I arrived, I saw my husbands check book - then and now, he is supporting another girl. He says that he is only helping someone in need - average of $400 per month. If I divorce him, can I get half of that money back. He knows I know - we had a huge fight - he will not stop helping her. we have separaate bank accounts now. PLUS, I used to pay all of the bills...mortgage, food etc...HELP |

You can ask a judge to award you sums based on this behavior yes.
It is likely that you could get at least some of that back in the divorce court |
