Family court sucks in every State, not just CT.
Our family courts are largely "unregulated", with important legal decisions left to unelected magistrates who are not even required to follow the legal codes of their state.
If you want to win in family court, you have to understand first of all that the outcome has nothing to do with justice or the best interests of the child. To win, you have to understand what motivates judges, magistrates, guardian ad litems, attorneys, clerks, CSEA workers, CPS workers, the appeals courts, etc.
Hint: ignore whatever you have seen on TV.

I guess your right. It is a crappy situation and very stressful at that.

Because she probably blew the whole court system a week before your trials!

Oh I am sure she did. She has been sleeping with the deputy cheif of police for the past 11 yrs and now she is sleeping with a Sgt in another police dept. She is a cop *****. I dont understand it either. HE is a good father and does everything he is supposed to do and he keeps getting the shaft by the courts. I wish I could start a group for support of men going through divorce. I see all these web sites designed for woman. Well let me tell you its not the woman who need them. The woman get everything and the men get nothing. And its a shame. and its not right. Especially when your a father who does everything your supposed . This really needs to be addressed by someone with authority because these woman are losers and they get away with too much and the good men out there get screwed.
