Review of Settlement Papers

My wife's attorney wrote up a settlement agreement. I want to have a lawyer review it on my behalf before I sign. About how much should I expect to pay for this service, how is it usually calculated, and how do I know if I'm being charged fairly? Any other advice on this approach?

Is there an 800 number that I can call about this instead?

Is it the same price if the lawyer reviewing the documents for me rewrites the agreement because my wifes lawyer wasn't thorough enough and a lot of things need to be reworded? I can't get a good indication from the lawyer as to how much this is going to cost. Last I heard it was $700, but I'm not sure if they gave me that price before they were done and then the lawyer asked if I wanted her to rewrite it for me and I don't know if that will cost even more.
