Default US immigration... Is there a chance to shorten the ban?

From 1998 to 2004 I went to America. After we deny the request for political asylum before an immigration judge, I stay in the U.S. longer than allowed. I got a 10 year ban. During the proceedings before the immigration court I had a proper work permit and I paid the tax.
Is there a chance to shorten the ban and to re-apply for a visa because I have a twin brother who is a U.S. citizen.

I wish to inform you that you can obtain waiver if you must be able to prove that your inadmissibility causes “extreme hardship” to the petitioning US Citizen. Extreme hardship is defined in the law as “greater than the normal hardship the qualifying relative can be expected to experience if the Alien is denied admission” In order to show this, evidence must be gathered and letters written to show to USCIS or the Consulate that the US Citizen would suffer undue harm because of the denial of admission. It may be difficult to sho extreme hardship to twin brother.
