DEPORTATION
My conditional permanent residence(California) expired Feb. 09. My application for a new one was denied because I used the wrong form. My marriage with a US citizen was annuled last year. so my status is alien. My exwife is filing for my deportation.
My question is: Should I leave the USA before I hear something about getting deported? And who has to be informed if I leave the USA? When I wait until I get deported, do I have to go to jail or will be arrested? I have no criminal records, not even traffic tickets. |
