not to be deported

Los Angeles, California. My husband was arrested for domestic violence. Although I did not press charges the D.A. picked up the case. If he is found guilty and was to do more than a year in jail, is there any way that I as his wife ( born in the U.S.) can fight for him to not be deported?

I believe that California Law states that if a green card holder do more than 364 days in jail and is charged with a felony... it automated cause for deportation.

And yes they are talking about deporting him because he has high bail with an immigration hold.... Is there anything that I can do to stop him from being deported???????????
