Can i try to reenter legally ?

I entered the US in 2000 legally and overstayed by 6 years,i am a UK citizen who was convicted of a violation charge in 2006 , i was deported 2 months after the conviction in 2006 and barred for 10 years, i entered under the Visa Waiver Program . I had my life there including many good friends/girlfriend and work too , as i have no criminal record what are my chances of reentry sooner than 10 years ?

Well i was arrested after i voluntarily showed up at the Police Station , i attended court a month later , and was charged with Disordely Conduct , the Judge said i had been given no criminal record but that it was a violation charge , i was released with a $100 fine which was paid , 2 months later ICE showed at my Apt and took me away and i was deported . I have spoken to Lawyers and many were surprised i was deported atall . I have also been told if i marry my girl there is a good chance for early reentry , im aware of the lack of hardship issues , but do you know of any cases where this has made any diff to the period of barring ??.

In what grounds/status were you in here? P.R. or illegaly and where you detained in a local enforcement agency (police station) for quite sometime? like a week, two weeks or month? bec. if you we're and for some reason the disorderly conduct a felony or misdemeanor ? if it was then, agency might of tip ICE.

I wasnt detained by the police when i was arrested , i was released and attended court . The charge was a violation , as i understand it thats less than a misdemeanour . ICE detained me for 3 weeks before deportation , i had no visa when i was detained but i entered on a 3 month tourist visa .

Violation of what? was it a felony charge? and are you here illegaly?

well, if it was less than a "misdemeanor", it had to do with some status of your stay here then...either something was expired or you are here illegaly or mistakenly identity with and expiration of your visa and/or green card!

I know why i was deported !!!!!!!, im not asking that , im asking how to return ....it says in plain English that i had no visa to be there !!!!!!!....try reading what ive written

It says i overstayed by 6 years , that means i had no visa , thats what an overstay is ..please if you dont know anything what is the point of you posting replies ???
