Question on Harassing Calls

We have an account with Citifinancial Auto. We have had the account for going on three years. We have been late a couple of times on the account, actually slow pay...never 30 days late...but late past the due date. We get 26, yes, count them, 26 phone calls per day from Citifinancial Auto to pay our account! 26 freakin' calls per day. To work and home...mostly to work. Our account was paid on 2/17/08 for the note due 2/13/08. The account is considered current and due for the March 13, 2008 note. They have been calling anyway...saying we need to pay our note! Still 26 freakin' times a day. I have call logs from the phone companies on the number of times they call per day.

We have told them repeatedly to stop contacting us at work and recently I started answering the phone what the hell do you want? Sorry, but I am so frustrated with them!

Anything that I can do? Anyone else have issues with the same damn creditor? Isn't this illegal in some way? Our account IS current. We have full proof of this.

Interesting...so they can harass you legally since they are the original creditor. Interesting!
