I had an agreement with the dental office to make payments of $100 per month. Services were from 2005-2006. I missed a couple of payments in 2007. I was summoned to court where I agreed that I owed the $2700, which is the remainder of the debt.
The day after I appeared in court, I sent the dentist a check in the amount of $100, hoping we could resume the payment plan. The dental office informed me that they are returning my check. They said that I must pay the debt, Minus 25%, within 10 days. If I fail to pay the approximately $2000 withing 10 days, they are threatening liens. I have no argument with the amount, but, I will not be able to pay more than about $200 per month. I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. |
