Creditor reporting late payments after filing Chapter 13

I filed for Chapter 13 Debt repayment plan in DEC 2003, and completed the plan with a successful discharge in Dec 2006. I am beginning the slow and painful process of rebuiding my credit, and upon review of my credit report I found that Only one of my creditors continued to report my payments as late until July 2006 (almost 3 years after filing). Some of my creditors last reported a late payment in Dec 03, and all but this particular CC lender last reported a late payment in Jan 04. I have written letter upon letter to the credit bureau and to the Credit Card company asking to have last late payment marked as Dec 03, as it should be. This particular company claims they are within their rights to continue reporting my payment as late. Is this right, or is there anything I can do to get this corrected. please help, I have tried everything I know to do. I am trying to move on after my bankruptcy, but this one mark is going to make the whole process take 2 years and 8 months longer than it should. Thank you for your help.

No--they cannot reschedule the date like that. Object to the reporting agency and they should remove it or date it correctly.
